Connect Wellness Cold Weather Protocol + Waitlist Stuff

With the cold weather and potential snow approaching, I felt like it would be a good idea to remind you of our weather-related cancellation process and warn you of potential spa closures. I was kind of a big dum-dum when I built this outdoor spa, and a lot of things are not freeze-proof. Lesson learned for the next place. Unfortunately, we are not able to operate safely with air temperatures under 26 degrees. When nighttime temperatures dip below that level, we will close the appropriate sessions. In regard to snow, we lean towards the “wait and see” approach, as, often, the weatherman has the snow predictions wrong. We do our best to time closures appropriately and avoid confusion. ![]() If you are signed up for a session that gets canceled, we will send you an email with the info at least an hour before the session start time. Often, we will notify you more than an hour ahead of time. You are always welcome to text or call the spa line with any questions at (360)600-2837. Please remember that we are human, and it might take a bit to respond and get everyone a reschedule code. Thanks in advance for your patience! ![]() You may have noticed that we’ve gotten a tad busier the past few months. (Thanks Portland Monthly and Oregonian articles. Haha) We’ve been testing the private spa area as overflow for community soak times. So, if you see we are full, I suggest you add yourself to the waitlist. After the spa staff starts the fires in the morning, provided they are able, they’ll open up 5 more spots for community soak. If you’re on the waitlist, you’ll get first dibs. We’ll send you an email in the morning if we can add you to the session. Please make sure you pay when you arrive! If you no longer want the spa session, please let us know ASAP, as we have lots of people who would love to soak.
I’m looking forward to filling you in on all the progress we’ve been making towards the next location, but until then, enjoy this super-short newsletter.
